MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneer Softball team fought hard against another tough opponent but came up just short in their doubleheader against the Rollins Tars on Wednesday, Mar. 14.

Game One
- T3 - Three errors in the inning spelled trouble for the Bucs with Rollins putting up three runs on the board despite only having one hit in the frame. | Rollins 3, Barry 0
- B4 - Maggie Wheless kicked off the inning on a high-note, knocking a double into left center and proceeding to steal third on the next at-bat. Payton Germer ultimately brough her home with a sacrifice fly. | Rollins 3, Barry 1
- T7 - The Tars blew the game open in the final inning, recording four singles that put the pressue on the Bucs defense. Two errors allowed the visitors to put another three runs on the board. | Rollins 6, Barry 1
Game Two
- T6 - The Tars loaded the bases in their first three at-bats, knocking a single sandwiched between two walks. Ashley Grimanelis singled up the middle to bring home a run but Barnhart was able to strike out three of the last four batters. | Rollins 1, Barry 0
NOTEWORTHY:
- Despite the loss, Lee had an excellent outing in the circle, only giving up two hits and striking out six batters through six innings.
