WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Buccaneers traveled back to Central Florida to meet the Tars of Rollins in one last time this regular season in SSC volleyball action on Tuesday night. The Bucs came up short to the Tars losing 3-1 (25-14, 26-28, 25-18, 25-23).

- 1st set | The match opened up in contested fashion as the teams traded points early before the bucs went down by four off a trio of kills, Barry was unable to respond ulimately dropped the set 25-14. | Rollins 25 , Barry 14
- 2nd set | Behind a couple of kills by Yileen Ng He and Mariana Bertran the Bucs go on a 3-0 scoring run to reach set point at 27-26 Rollins dropped the set off of a ball handling error by Emma Begley. | Barry 28 , Rollins 26
- 3rd set | The Bucs showed resilience not letting the Tars lead by more than three points, but lost control of the set after a plethora of errors. The Bucs dropped the set after a 3-0 scoring run by the Tars. | Rollins 25 , Barry 18
- 4th Set| Down 6-9 the Bucs went on to score five unanswered points and took the lead for a brief moment before the Tars reaccerted control of the set and clinched the set. | Rollins 25, Barry 23
NOTEWORTHY:
- Djuly Schmorantz led the way for the Bucs with 10 kills, 17 digs, one assist and one service.
- Yileen Ng He had a solid night at the net racking up four block assists, nine kills, five services aces and two digs.
ON THE HORIZON:
The Bucs return to the Health & Sports Center on Friday Oct.29 to defend the home court against Florida Southern. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
