MIAMI SHORES,FLA. – The Barry Buccaneers fell 3-1 to the Nova Southeastern Sharks in a Sunshine State Conference volleyball match at the Health & Sports Center on Friday night.

- 4th set | The Bucs fought hard to even out the set 11-11, The Sharks extended their lead and clinched the match off of six blocks and a couple of errors commited by the Bucs. | Nova Southeastern 25, Barry 15
NOTEWORTHY:
- Barry's Djuly Schmorantz and NSU's Marianna Fiocco both led the match with 14 kills each.
- Four different players for the Bucs had double digit digs, led by Mónica López with 16.
- The Sharks had 14 blocks for the night to just six for the Bucs.
ON THE HORIZON:
The Bucs will look to prepare for the South Region Crossover as the SSC/GSC will cross over for volleyball action on Friday-Saturday, Oct. 22-23 in Winter Have, Fla.
