WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – The Buccaneers took a trip north to Winter Haven, Fla. to take on elite teams fromm the GSC. After day one of the tournament, the Bucs proved they belong with a dominate showing over Valdosta State and Union (Tn) . In the first match, Barry won 3-0 over Valdosta State 25-21, 25-17, 25-19 and in the second match, The Bucs got the best of Union in four sets 26-24, 22-25, 25-19, 25-16.

- Schmorantz lead the team with 35 kills between the two matches, 9 kills against Valstosa and 26 kills against Union.
- Monica Lopez and Schmorantz tallied over 30 digs each in day one of the crossover.
