A walk to Omar Baldo forced another pitching change and, after two outs, Escala was hit by a pitch to load the bases. Cabrera followed with a single off the glove of shortstop Kyler Marquis, bringing in Fernandez. But Marquis threw the ball away trying to get it back to the pitcher and Baldo came home as well.
