MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Myles Gayman pitched a complete game and Chris Cabrera hit a pair of two-run homers to lead the Bucs to a series win over the 18th-ranked Florida Southern Moccasins by taking game one 13-2 on Saturday. The Mocs salvaged a split of the Sunshine State Conference baseball series with a 4-2 win in the nightcap.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Gayman (4-0) worked a nine-inning complete game, allowing two runs (one earned) on seven hits with six strikeouts. It was Gayman's first career complete game and the first nine-inning complete game for the Bucs since Alex Lavandero in 2016 against Saint Leo.
- Brant Brown (2-1) took the loss for FSC. He gave up eight runs (six earned) in 3.1 innings on six hits and four walks.
- Mike DeSanti (3-0) got the win in relief in game two for the Mocs. He tossed two shutout innings, on one hit and one walk with two strikeouts.
- Mike Reagan took the loss for the Bucs. He gave up three runs on nine hits in four innings. He struck out three, but did not walk a batter.
- Escala, Matos and Cabrera each had four hits in the twinbill. Matos scored twice and drove in three, while Cabrera had four runs and four RBI. Escala had four runs in the leadoff slot. Diaz drove in three, while Sobalvarro scored three times.
