- Mike Reagan (2-1) became the first Buccaneer start to take a loss, allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits and two walks in five innings. He struck out six.
- Duncan Pastore, who started the game at third base for the Sharks, pitched a perfect ninth for his first save.
