SUMMARY:
Game One

  • T3 -  Taylor Checkley singled through the right side with two outs, bringing Cassandra Lee to the plate. The freshman who got the start at DP, smashed a double to left-center scoring Checkley from first to give Barry the lead | Barry 1, EC 0
  • B7 - Jordanna Hartley was the Bucs starting pitcher and the freshman from Ontario was dealing through the first six innings not allowing a run while giving up seven hits to Triton hitters. However, the freshman would give up a leadoff walk. The next batter would ground out, but a wild pitch advanced the runner from second to third. With one out, a double down the left field line tied things up. Another wild pitch from Hartley advanced the runner again before the Tritons walked-off with a base hit to center field | EC 2, Barry 1

SUMMARY:
Game Two

  • T1 - Barry loaded the bases to start things off with singles by Courtney Chisholm and Taylor Checkley. Payton Germer walked to give the Bucs a run. Kayla Posten followed that up with a sacrifice fly to record the first out of the inning, but Barry left runners stranded on first and second | Barry 2, EC 0
  • B1 - Cassandra Lee struggled to find the strike zone for Barry with four walks in the inning allowing two runs on just one hit | EC 2, Barry 2
  • T2 - Savannah Starling singled and scored later in the inning on a throwing error by the Tritons' second baseman allowing Checkley to reach base.
  • B3 - Hartley came into the game in relief after Lee walked five Triton hitters | Barry 3, EC 2
  • T4 - Starling manufactured another run for Barry after getting on by fielders choice and then stole second and third. During her attempt to take third, the throw from the Triton catcher sailed into left field and allowed Starling to go home | Barry 4, EC 2
  • T6 - With Starling on second after stealing her third base of the game, Chisholm singled back up the middle and Starling scored on another Triton error | Barry 5, EC 3
  • B7 - Hartley recorded two of the three outs for the Bucs to come away with the win, but a walk-off two RBI double by Costa scored runners from second and third gave the Tritons the series sweep | EC 6, Barry 5
