MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers sank the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish 54-42 in a big Sunshine State Conference women's basketball win on Cesar Odio Court Wednesday night.

- 2Q - The Sailfish chopped into the lead in the second quarter, closing to 17-15 on a pair of free throws by Sia Williams with 6:24 left. Barry, though, used a 6-0 run, as Baena scored twice and dished off to Fusari for a layup, to push the lead to their biggest of the half, 23-15. NOTEWORTHY:
- Hergot led the Bucs with 12 points, shooting 5-of-8 in the second half, and 10 rebounds for a double-double.
- Baena narrowly missed one of her own, finishing with 11 points and nine boards.
- Swindells added 10 points.
- Williams led the Sailfish with 11 points, but shot just 3-of-10 from the floor. Claire Bady chipped in 10. Kennedi Rodgers led all players with 12 rebounds.
