- The game began in Palm Beach Atlantic's favor with the Sailfish amassing a 20-10 lead just under six minutes into the contest. Jake Kakar logged 12 points in the half on five-of-seven shooting from the field with two buckets from downtown.
- The Bucs rallied back and were able to cut the lead down to two points with three minutes to play in the half.
- Point guard David Moya caught fire in the second half sinking a triple right out the locker room on his way to recording 16 points in the period capped off by his game-sealing trip to the free throw line. The senior finished with 23 points.
