MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers lost 4-3 to the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish in the opening game of their Sunshine State Conference baseball series at Feinbloom Field on Friday night.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Frank II Gonzalez had another outstanding outing with out getting a decision. He worked seven innings, scattering seven hits, allowing one run and striking out three.
- Pablo Arevalo (4-4) took the loss for the Bucs. In 1.1 innings, he allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits.
- Heath Hawkings (4-2) got the win for PBA. He held the Bucs to one walk in 1.2 innigns and struck out two.
- Orsen Josephina worked a perfect ninth, striking out two, for his fifth save.
