MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers split a doubleheader with the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish on Saturday at Feinbloom Field, dropping the first game, but rebounding to take the nightcap.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Christian Denton (3-3) worked six shutout innings, scattering four hits and a walk while striking out six in the opener to earn the win.
- Myles Gayman (2-3) took the loss for the Bucs. In 4.1 innings, he allowed five runs on five hits and three walks.
- Neither starter figured in the second game decision. Ping-Chun Ho (2-1) worked a pair of scoreless innings to earn the win. He allowed one hit and one walk. Anthony Boix worked a perfect ninth to pick up his second save.
- Smith (0-1) took the loss for the 'Fish. He worked three innings, allowing two runs on two hits and a walk.
- Sobalvarro led the Bucs at the plate in the twin bill. He was 4-for-6 with two RBI. Cabrera was 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI. Lamazares and Garcia both had two hits as well.
ON THE HORIZON:
The Bucs host the Nova Southeastern Sharks on Tuesday in a rubber game for the season series, which currently stands 2-2.
