WINTER PARK, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers worked overtime to beat the Rollins Tars 9-8 on Friday in 13 innings at Alfond Stadium in Winter Park, Fla.

- B13 - The Tars strung together three straight hits with one out to load the bases, and Gonzalez drove in a run with a fly ball. But Hugo Casilla got Meehan looking to end the game. | Barry 9, Rollins 8
NOTEWORTHY:
- Mike Reagan (1-0) worked two scoreless innings in relief, allowing just a walk and striking out one to earn his first collegiate win.
- Drennan (2-3) took the loss for the Tars, throwing 111 pitches over 6.2 innings in relief. He allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits and two walks and struck out nine.
- Rapoza was 6-for-6 in the ball game. It is the first 6-for-6 game in school history and ties Joey Perez who had six hits in eight at-bats at Florida Gulf Coast on April 8, 2003 for the most hits in a game.
- Sobalvarro and Matos both had two hits and drove in two runs. Diaz, with his homer, also drove in a pair.
- Brundage and LaFontaine each had three hits for the Tars. Meehan drove in three before striking out to end the game.
- The 13-inning game is the longest for the Buccaneers since the last time they visited Rollins. The Bucs won 6-5 in 13 innings on April 22, 2017.
