MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Buccaneers fell in game one of a Sunshine State Conference three game series against Florida Southern on Friday at Buccaneer Field. Barry came up short 7-3 despite scoring three runs in the sixth inning.

- B6 - Lysney Duncan blasted a double to left center field with one out. Savannah Starling followed with a single to third base, keeping Duncan at second. Peyton Rawls came up to bat and hit into a fielder's choice, but the Mocs fielder air-mailed the throw and allowed Duncan to score from second. Later in the inning, Berlin Colvin singled to right field and drove in Rawls. Another run would score on the play when Andrea Johnson crossed home thanks to a rundown Colvin forced trying to take second. | FSC 7, Barry 3.
NOTEWORTHY:
- In her last seven games, Colvin is 10-for-20 (.500) with two doubles and three RBI.
