WHAT ARE THEY SAYING:

"We really don't give up in a lot of games. It's nice to leave the field with a couple of wins today," - Bucs assistant coach Sophie Slagle said.

"I feel really good [right now]. At the beginning of the season I was in a slump, but now I'm doing a better job of going up to hit with a plan. We struggled with our fielding today in some situations, but we made up for it with our at-bats," - Bucs left fielder Berlin Colvin said.

I just try to do everything I can for my team. Everyone was contributing and we all did a really good job with the bats today." - Bucs third baseman Peyton Rawls said.

Wins at times have been tough for us so anytime you get two in one day, it feels good. Tip your cap to Florida Southern, I thought they fought in both games. Peyton made some great plays at third base and earned her first college win during game one as a pitcher. Our hope going forward is to have a really great month of April and send a message to the rest of the conference that we're setting up to be really good next year. - Bucs head coach Sean Cotter.

SUMMARY:
Game One
