MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Buccaneers dropped a pair of games in double-header action to No. 12-ranked Florida Tech on Saturday at Bottge Field in Melbourne, Fla. Barry came up short in the first game 6-5 and and lost game two and the series to the Panthers 13-2 in five innings.

SUMMARY:
Game One
- T1 - the Bucs jumped all over the Panthers scoring three runs on on three hits all with two outs. Andrea Johnson drove in the first run of the day for Barry when she doubled to left-center and scored Peyton Rawls who walked. Then, Fallon Dragich drove a pitch over the fence in left-center to record her first career home run, scoring Johnson from second. | Barry 3, FIT 0
- B2 - it wouldn't take the Panthers long to respond with two runs also coming with two outs. Barry could've gotten out of the inning without allowing any runs, but the Bucs dropped an easy fly ball in foul territory. | Barry 3, FIT 2
- B3 - Florida Tech tied the game on a RBI single to the left side that forced the Bucs to make a pitching change. Gabby Vallee came in for Rawls and finished the remainder of the game. | FIT 3, Barry 3
- B4 - The Panthers dink-and-dunked Vallee throughout the inning as the freshman gave up three hits and three runs, breaking the tie between the teams. | FIT 6, Barry 3

- T7 - Lynsey Duncan led the inning off with a bang for the Bucs, hitting her first home run for the season and the second for Barry in the game. Johnson drew a walk, but was stranded on first as the tying run. | FIT 6, Barry 5
SUMMARY:
Game Two
- T2 - Barry punched out three straight hits to start the inning. With runners on second and third, Berlin Colvin doubled to left-center field and scored Johnson from third base. The Bucs were held to one run in the inning, unable to capitalize with runners on first and third with no outs. | Barry 1, FIT 0
- B2 - Florida Tech put up nine runs with the Buccaneers imploding defensively with three errors this inning. | FIT 9, Barry 1
- T3 - Barry was able to pick up a run when a double steal was executed perfectly. With runners on the corners, Savannah Starling bolted for second base and baited the Panthers catcher to throw to second allowing Duncan to score from third. | FIT 9, Barry 2
- B3 - The Panthers tacked on three more runs on the Bucs' game two starter Johnson and put the run rule in play after five innings. | FIT 13, Barry 2
NOTEWORTHY:
- In game one today, Barry hit multiple home runs in a game for the first time this season.
- Colvin did not play in game one, but did manage to punch-out another hit in game two. She is now hitting 9-for-17 (.529) in her last six games.
ON THE HORIZON:
Barry returns home on Friday, March 29th when they host Florida Southern at Buccaneer Field in another SSC three game series. First pitch on Friday is set for 6:00 PM.
