MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers stormed back to clobber the Saint Leo Lions 11-6 in Sunshine State Conference baseball action at Feinbloom Field on Friday night. The Lions (9-6, 2-2 SSC) jumped out to a 6-1 lead after three innings, but the Bucs sent 18 men to the plate in the fourth and fifth innings, scoring 10 runs.

- B4 - The Bucs batted around and scored six runs in the fourth. With one out, Ariel Diaz and Joel Alvarez had singles and Garcia was hit by pitch to load the bases. Diaz scored on a fielder's choice by Freddie Matos. Rapoza followed with a single to third, scoring Alvarez and he went to second when Morello threw the ball away. After walks to Chris Cabrera and Justin Lamazares loaded the bases back up, Paul Salata ripped a single to left center, scoring Rapoza and Cabrera. - B5 - The Bucs batted around again in the fifth. Deyvid Silva led off with a single to right and Diaz bounced a hit up the middle. After a sacrifice by Alvarez, Garcia had a ground out to score Silva. Matos followed with an RBI single up the middle and Rapoza doubled to left to set up runners at second and third. NOTEWORTHY:
- Pablo Arevalo (2-1) worked 5.1 scoreless innings in relief of Gonzalez to earn the win. He scattered four hits and a walk and struck out six.
- Jeremy Peel (1-2) gave up four runs (three earned) on four hits and a walk in one inning of relief of Joey Antonopolous after the starter was chased in the fourth inning after giving up six runs on seven hits and a two walks.
- Rapoza and Diaz each had three hits for the Bucs and scored twice. Rapoza, Cabrera, Matos and Salata all drove in two runs, while Matos also scored twice.
- Wright led the Lions going 4-for-4 at the plate and scored a run.
