MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Buccaneers dropped two games on the final day of the Florida Tech Invitational at the USSA Space Coast Stadium in Viera, Florida. Barry lost game one 11-2 against Georgia College and came up short 7-6 to Columbus State in 10 innings.

Game One
- B1 - Georgia College jumped all over the Bucs right away with seven runs on four hits. | GC 7, Barry 0
- T3 - Barry was able to get on the scoreboard in the third when Berlin Colvin grounded out but scored Karla Santiago in the process. | GC 10, Barry 1
- T4 - Savannah Starling tacked on another run for the Bucs when she grounded out to the Bobcat third-baseman and plated Andrea Johnson. | GC 10, Barry 2
SUMMARY:
Game Two
- B5 - Down four runs, the Buccaneers made their first comeback of the game to tie things up in the fifth. Johnson started the inning with a double down the left field line. Then, with runners on first and third Jordyn Petty also doubled, scoring Johnson and Berlin Colvin. After advancing to third on a Karla Santiago single, Santiago stole second allowing Petty to steal home when the CSU catcher threw to second base. Ayana Andrade-Zygmunt's base-hit allowed Santiago to score and tie the game. | CSU 4 Barry 4
- B8 - CSU scored again in the eighth, only to see the Buccaneers tie it up in the bottom half of the inning.
- B10 - Columbus State picked up two in the tenth to go ahead for good when the Bucs could only muster one run in their third comeback attempt.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Fallon Dragich and Andrea Johnson each had great showings throughout the tournament. Dragich finished 3-for-8 (.375) with two RBI and Johnson was 4-for-11 (.364) with four RBI.
- Despite not earning a win during the tournament, Bucs freshman starting pitcher Gabby Vallee went the distance in all three of her starts recording a 3.65 ERA in 23 innings pitched.
