MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – The Buccaneer volleyball team beat Florida Tech in straight sets on Saturday afternoon inside the Health & Sports Center to improve to 10-1 on the season at home. Barry swept the season-series against the Panthers and has not lost to FIT since October 23, 2013. Barry won 25-17, 25-22, 25-17.

SUMMARY:
- 1st set | Despite struggling offensively, Megi Buvinic found other ways to contribute for the Bucs having 10 digs
- 2nd set | Barry came from behind to take the set from FIT and avoid giving the Panthers any momentum. Viktoria Velika is playing well for the Bucs and had solid contributions in the set with three kills and three blocks.
- 3rd set | The Bucs led from start to finish and put away the Panthers thanks to five kills from senior Kristina Filimonova.
NOTEWORTHY:.
- Barry had three players with double-figure digs
- Filimonova recorded her eighth double-double of the season. She is second on the team behind Buvinic
- Kishara Gordon (11 kills) and Anastasiia Samokhvalova (seven kills) had their second-straight impressive performance as middle-blockers for the Buccaneers

The Bucs head to Winter Park on Thursday, November 14 to take on Rollins College. First serve is at 7pm.
