MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Jake Kakar's 19 points came in a variey of ways during the Bucs' 85-77 victory over Florida Memorial at home on Wednesday inside the Health & Sports Center. Kakar had an array of drives to the basket, pull-up jumpers and wide-open three-balls to record double-figure points for the fifth time in six games.

SUMMARY:
- Jake Kakar led the Buccaneer offense in the first half again with 14 points on 5-of-6 shooting. In the last three games, Kakar is contributing right away for Barry, averaging 14.3 points-per-game on 46 percent shooting in the first half.
- In the second half, freshman guard Toru Dean was impressive with 11 points, four rebounds and two assists. The Miami native was able to consistently get to the basket and either finish with crafty layups or get to the foul line. He finished 3-for-4 from the charity stripe.
NOTEWORTHY:.
- Johannes Dolven recorded his first double-double of the season with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
- Dean set season-highs in points (15), field goal attempts (10) and rebounds (4).
- The Buccaneer bench out-scored the Lions bench 31-12.

The Bucs head back to their Sunshine State Conference schedule on Wednesday, December 4th against Lynn on the road. Tip-off is set for 7:30pm.
