MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers knocked off the arch-rival Lynn Knights 3-2 at Bobby Campbell Stadium on Wednesday night in Sunshine State Conference women's soccer action.

SUMMARY:
- 12:02 - Sofia de la Puente put the Bucs on top early. Sarah Wignall flicked a ball ahead into the box and de la Punte settled it and beat Lynn keeper Devan Malcolm to the far post.
- 29:21 - Conference scoring leader Anniina Sankoh eavened the game at 1-1 in the 30th minute with an assist from Kyla Gill.
- 74:54 - Minda Forsblom gave the Bucs a led they would not relenquish in the 75th minute with her first career goal. She stole the ball from a couple of Lynn defenders at the top of the box and fired a shot past Malcolm to the near post.
- 80:36 - The Bucs got the game-winner from de la Puente in the 81st minute. Her goal was a replay of Forsblom's as she gained possession at the top of the box and slid it past Malcom to the near post.
- 82:32 - Sankoh got her 13th goal of the season to trim the lead to one in the 83rd minute. Bianca Christ pushed the ball up the left side and slid it back into the middle to Sankoh who used her left foot to go into the upper left corner.
NOTEWORTHY:
- The game was as tight as the score indicated, with Barry holding a narrow 20-14 edge in shots, 10-9 on goal.
- Barry's Maddie Hart-Pomerantz had seven saves for the Bucs to earn the win.
- Malcolm also made seven saves, but conceded three goals to take the loss.
- For de la Punte, it was her second career game-winner.
