MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – The Buccaneers fell to the Lynn Fighting Knights at home for the first time since November 1
st, 2014 and was beaten in straight-sets for only the second time in the last two seasons. Barry fell in three sets 25-27, 22-25, 19-25.
INSIDE THE MATCHUPS:

SUMMARY:
- 1st set | Eight ties throughout the set and both teams hitting over .400 made for some entertaining volleyball that didn't involve many runs for either team. Megi Buvinic came out firing with nine kills in the first frame.
- 2nd set | Barry went down five with the score 14-19 before mounting a 6-2 run after a Steve Hendricks timeout, making it 20-22 Lynn. The comeback effort was for not and the Bucs would drop the set 22-25.
- 3rd set | The Buccaneers were held to a match-low side out percentage (45%), unable to control the pace of play. The Knights were all over the court defensively with 19 digs in the set.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Buvinic has 42 kills in her last two matches and currently ranks fifth among all SSC players.
- The Buccaneers fell to the Knights at home for the first time since November 1st, 2014
- Tonight marks just the second time in the last two seasons that the Bucs were swept in sets.
