LAKELAND, Fla. – The Barry Buccaneers volleyball team bounced back on the road, earning a three-set victory over Florida Southern inside the Jenkins Field House. Senior outside hitter Megi Buvinic returned to the court for the Bucs contributing six kills and eight digs after missing the Nova Southeastern match due to injury. Barry won 25-17, 25-14, 25-23.

SUMMARY:
- 1st set | The Bucs were able to make first touches difficult for the Mocs with their serves. Barry recorded three service aces
- 2nd set | Barry played their best during this set with a .275 hitting percentage while holding the Mocs to a 0.22 hitting percentage. Buvinic recorded five of her six kills helping the Bucs build a 14-3 lead.
- 3rd set | Kristina Filimonova recorded her fourth double-double of the season with 11 kills and 16 digs. The Russian was impressive in the final set putting the Mocs away with with four kills, seven digs and two blocks.
NOTEWORTHY:
- With 11 kills against FSC, Filimonova moved into sixth all-time with 1,110 kills during her four-year career as a Buccaneer.
- With 20 digs tonight, Audren Rose moves into eighth place all-time recording 1,096 digs in her two-year career with Barry.
ON THE HORIZON:
The Bucs will head to St. Petersburg tomorrow, October 26th to take on Eckerd College for their third and final SSC match of the week. First serve is at 4:00 PM.
