MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – The No. 24-ranked Barry Buccaneers bounced back at home, remaining undefeated in the Health & Sports Center this season with a 3-0 victory over the Rollins Tars. The Bucs suffered a disappointing loss on Tuesday to Palm Beach Atlantic, but made quick work of the Tars and are now 11-5 overall and 6-2 in Sunshine State Conference play headed into the Sunshine State Conference/Gulf South Conference Crossover next week in Hoover, Alabama. Barry won 25-15, 25-21, 25-21.

WHAT ARE THEY SAYING:
SUMMARY:
- 1st set | The Bucs were able to get whatever they wanted early on limiting the Tars to just 10 kills while Barry hit .324. Gabriella Jansen came off the bench to spark the Buccaneer offense with four kills and three digs.
- 2nd set | Rollins was able to make the second set more competitive with nine ties and a 13-9 lead. Kristina Filimonova joined the offensive party for Barry with six kills. The Buccaneer defense picked up six team blocks.
- 3rd set | Juliana Tirabassi took over the setting duties for Barry with Bianca Paşca checking out of the match. Tirabassi recorded 12 assists and three digs, giving the Tars their seventh consecutive loss.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Pasca returned to the court today after sitting out against the Sailfish on Tuesday due to injury. The sophomore finished with 26 assists and five digs today.
- Megi Buvinic sat out the second and third sets for rest after playing some in the first.
ON THE HORIZON:
The Bucs are off until Friday, October 18 when they travel to the Finley Center in Hoover, Alabama for the SSC/GSC Crossover. Barry will learn who their opponent after all matches this weekend are completed and seedings are released.
