MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers dominated for all 90 minutes of Saturday's action as they took down the Eckerd Tritons by a score of 2-0 in Sunshine State Conference men's soccer from Buccaneer Field. Speed and quickness aided the Bucs as they were able to put pressure on the Tritons all game, amassing 19 shots on goal.

SUMMARY:
- 29th minute - Francisco Greco was fouled while dribbling the ball at the top of the penalty box but instead of going down he took the referees advantage, got back up, and crossed a perfect ball in onto Flavio Colasanti's foot who in turn buried the goal.
- 47th minute - Colasanti played the ball up from th back to Luca De Biase who fed Fransico Aguirre in the box before Aguirre rocketed De Biase's pass into the left side of the net underneath Triton keeper Daniel Ormiston.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Marco Sordi earned the shutout and the win for the Bucs, making two saves. He was helped out by Stephen Kosmala who swept the ball off the line in the 22nd minute.
- Ormiston took the loss for the Tritons, conceding two goals despite making four saves and also getting help from a defender for a save.
- This was Barry's first conference game of the season which adds some flavor to the win.
- Tonight was a physical contest which saw four yellow cards given out, all to Eckerd players.
- Barr outshot Eckerd 19-9 and landed more shots on target by a 7-3 margin.
