MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Barry men's soccer team kicks off the 2018 Sunshine State Conference slate as they take on the Eckerd Tritons on Saturday, Sept. 15 at Buccaneer Field at 6:00 pm.

The Bucs are 4-1-0 on the season, coming off a 2-1 overtime win over St. Thomas on Wednesday. It was the Bucs' second win in extra time this season.
The Bucs' offense is paced by junior forward Ander Urkidi and freshman midfielder Francisco Greco who both have scored three goals. Two of Greco's tallies are game-winners, both coming in overtime. Amponsah Asamoah has a pair of assists to top the squad. Defensively, senior defender Stephen Kosmala and keeper Marco Sordi have led a unit that has allowed just four goals in the five games for a 0.79 goals against average.
The Tritons are 2-2-1 after having their mid-week game against Johnson & Wales stopped by lightning at the half. Senior midfielder Juan David Tejada leads the team with four goals, including one game-winner. Senior forward Robert Carter and freshman midfielder Ty Dolan each have a pair of assists. Keepers Mason DeBaets and David Ormiston have split time in goal, combining for a 1.53 goals against average.
