MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers had to delay gratification in game two, but came away with a 16-5 win over the Florida Tech Panthers in Sunshine State baseball action at Feinbloom Field. The game started Sunday night, but had to be finished Monday morning due to the curfew in Miami Shores.

- B3: The Bucs loaded the bases in the third with one out on a single by Joel Alvarez, a double by Arrison Perez and Andrew Rapoza was hit by a pitch, all off starter Jake Lane (2-5). Paul Salata singled to knock in Alvarez and, one out later, Ryan Baldwin parked a grand slam to left center to give the Bucs the lead. | Barry 5, FIT 1
- B4: Thompson and Alexis Monge-Rodriguez had base hits to start the inning. Alvarez dropped down a sacrifice bunt, but first baseman Jacob Buser muffed the throw from pitcher Matt DiNenna, allowing Thompson to score. Rapoza followed with a single up the middle to drive in a pair. | Barry 8, FIT 1

NOTEWORTHY:
- Anthony Gutierrez (3-0) worked 3.1 innings in relief of Nick Bralczyk to earn the win. He gave up three runs on three hits and two walks and struck out four. Bralczyk held the Panthers to an unearned run on one hit in 3.2 innings. He wlaked five, but struck out six.
- Jake Lane (2-5), who got the win in relief in game one, took the loss as the starter in game two. He worked 2.1 innings, allowing three runs on two hits.
