MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers knocked off the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish 5-1 on Tuesday night at Fienbloom Field in a non-conference matchup.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Anthony Gutierrez (2-0) picked up the win for the Bucs in the split game, as Barry used eight pitchers. Gutierrez worked three innings, allowing a run on two hits and striking out three.
- The Bucs bullpen went the final six innings, allowing just two hits and a walk and striking out six. Blaine Duncan tossed the ninth, allowing one hit and striking out the side.
- Orsen Josephina (1-3) took the loss for PBA. He allowed four runs on six hits and three walks in three innings.
- Rapoza was 2-for-4 with two runs scored.
- Quintana was 2-for-3 with a walk, a homer, a double, two runs and two RBI. His homer was the 10th of the season.
- The homer by Perez was his fourth, the most among the Buccaneer freshmen this season.
