FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Barry University softball split the double-header with the Sharks of Nova Southeastern, Wednesday night at the AD Griffin Sports Complex.

Game 1
	- B1: Alex Suzuki doubled to left center, scoring two runs to take the early lead for the Sharks. Nova 2 | Barry 0
- B5: Kayla Kight scored on a wild pitch to give the Sharks a three run lead. The Sharks would hold onto the lead for the remainder of game one. Nova 3 | Barry 0
Game 2
	- T8: The Bucs scored two runs in the top of the eighth. Lynsey Duncan and Brittany Phillips each scored on a passed ball by the catcher. Barry 2 | Nova 0
- B8: Keeley Mayers got one run back for the Sharks with an infield RBI-single to the shortstop. The Buccaneer defense would hold Nova off to secure the victory in game two of the double-header. Barry 2 | Nova 1
NOTEWORTHY:
	- Geneva Santos (6-14) took the loss in game one for the Bucs, giving up six hits and three runs in six innings.
- Lexie Storrer (10-17) gave up just five hits in seven innings, to take the win for the Sharks in the opening game of the series. She would then take the loss in the second game, allowing three hits and two runs through eight innings of work.
- Christie Falcon (11-8) picked up the win in game two for the Bucs, giving up just one run and seven hits in eight innings of play.

Barry returns to the AD Griffin Sports Complex Thursday to finish the series with the Sharks at 6 p.m.
