Game 1
- B1: The Mocs bit into the Buccaneers early with four runs in the first. Three RBI-singles scored each of the runs. Southern 4 | Barry 0
- T3: Barry's Anieliese Palmeiro cut the Mocs' lead in half, batting in two runs with a double to right center. Southern 4 | Barry 2
- T6: Sam Busekrus singled to second base, scoring Brittany Phillips from third to bring the Bucs within one run of the Mocs. Southern 4 | Barry 3
- B6: Florida Southern's top hitter Shannon Bell singled to right center, scoring two runs to increase their lead to three runs. The Mocs would hold onto the lead to win game one of the series. Southern 6 | Barry 3
NOTEWORTHY:
- Christie Falcon (9-6) took the loss for the Bucs, giving up 10 hits and six runs through six innings.
- Kristen Beacham (6-1) worked five innings to only give up five hits and two runs to the Bucs to pick up the win for the Mocs.
- Aubrey Ehlers (2) grabbed her second save of the season, allowing just three hits and one run through two innings.
- Phillips, Palmeiro and Geneva Santos each had doubles for the Bucs on the night.
