CLERMONT, Fla. -- Barry University's softball team increased their winning streak to six games with a 5-3 victory over the Tiffin University Dragons, followed by a 6-2 win over the Knights of Queens College, on Saturday at the Sleepy Hollow Sports Complex.

Game 1
- T1: Tiffin's Brooke Lambert scored in Libby Crow in the first to take the early one-run lead. Tiffin 1 | Barry 0
- B1: Barry responded with a two-RBI double from Geneva Santos to right center to take the lead over the Dragons. Barry 2 | Tiffin 1
- T4: Lambert knotted the game at two with a home run to right center for the Dragons. Abbey Zedaker had an RBI single to left field moments later to take back the lead for Tiffin. Tiffin 3 | Barry 2
- B5: Madison VonHagel singled to bring in Alayna Gallagher to even the game at three all. During the same play, Lynsey Duncan took advantage of a sleeping Dragon defense to score from third after advancing their from second. Barry 4 | Tiffin 3
- B6: Sam Busekrus slayed the Dragons with one last run in the sixth, scoring on a wild pitch. Barry 5 | Tiffin 3

- B1: Madison VonHagel doubled to right field, scoring Anieliese Palmeiro to stun the Knights. Barry 1 | Queens 0
- B2: The Bucs added two more runs to their lead in the second; Gallagher with an infield RBI single to score Busekrus. Barry 3 | 0
- T4: Queens' Maryjane D'Agostino stole home in the fourth to give the Knights a fighting chance. Barry 3 | Queens 1
- T5: Alyssa Neal had an RBI single to third base to cut the Bucs' lead to one. Barry 3 | Queens 2
- B5: Gallagher scored home on a wild pitch to earn back a run for the Bucs. A couple batters later, VonHagel put the dagger in the Knights with a two-run shot over the left field wall. Barry 6 | Queens 2
NOTEWORTHY:
- Christie Falcon (8-5) came up big for the Bucs today, winning both games after giving up just seven hits and two runs through ten innings.
- Faith Bogard (0-2) lost game one of the day for the Tiffin Dragons, allowing six hits and three runs.
- Vanessa Juengerkes (1-1) was dealt the loss in game two against the Bucs, giving up eight hits and six runs.
