GULF SHORES, Ala. -- Barry University softball dropped a pair of games on Saturday at the Gulf Coast Invitational at the Gulf Shores Sportsplex. The Bucs lost to a pair of sattelite campuses, to Auburn-Montgomery 10-8 and to Alabama-Huntsville 9-1 in five innings.

- B3: Alayna Gallagher got the Bucs on the board in the third. She advanced from second to third on a fly ball by Madison VonHagel and scored when centerfielder Parker Pinholster's throw got away at third. | AUM 8, Barry 1

- B1: The Chargers gained control in the bottom of the inning. Amber Hammonds, Taylor Wascavage and Brooke Miller had RBI as UAH built a 4-1 lead | UAH 4, Barry 1.

- B4: Kiara Akles drove in Hammond with a single to right. UAH 7, Barry 1
- B5: Hammonds had a sacrifce fly and pinch hitter Alaina Hampton laced a douoble down the left field line to end the game on the run rule. | UAH 9, Barry 1Â
NOTEWORTHY:
- Lynsey Duncan (1-1) took the loss against the Warhawks. She allowed eight runs (five earned) on four hits and four walks in three innings.
- Santos (0-2) took the loss against UAH. She allowed six runs (four earned) on four hits and four walks in 2.2 innings.
- Sam Busekrus went 3-for-6 with a run and a stolen base in the twinbill.Â

The Bucs are scheduled to finish the final day of the Gulf Coast Invitational tomorrow, as they take on Lee University at 10 a.m. and West Georgia at 12:15 p.m. Those times and matchups may be adjusted due to inclement weather.
