GULF SHORES, Ala. -- The Barry softball team lost twice on the final day of the Gulf Coast Invitational at the Gulf Shores Sportsplex on Sunday. They fell 8-0 in five innings to Lee (Tenn.) and 8-3 to West Georgia.

- B2: Barry scored three in the second. Madison VonHagel walked and Anieliese Palmeiro beat out a bunt for a hit. Then with two outs, Brittany Phillips drove a double into the right center field gap to score both of the them. NOTEWORTHY:
- Christie Falcon (0-2) was tagged with the loss in both games. In 6.2 innings, she allowed 12 runs (five earned) on 13 hits and three walks.
- Palmeiro had three hits and Lynsey Duncan had two.

The Bucs travel back home to Miami Shores to host West Florida in a double header on Buccaneer Field on Saturday Feb. 10.
