MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers split a baseball doubleheader with the St. Thomas Bobcats on Saturday at Feinbloom Field. The Bucs fell 18-9 in game one, but bounced back to take the nightcap 7-5.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Danger Guevara (1-0) earned the win in relief for the Bobcats in game one. In 1.1 innings, he allowed two runs on three hits and two walks. Â
- Jonathan Hernandez (0-2) took the loss for the Bucs, giving up five runs on five hits in an inning of work.
- In game two, Anthony Boix got the win with 1.1 innings of relief work. He did not allow a hit or a walk, but did hit two batters. Daniel Broeseker worked a scoreless ninth, allowing two hits and striking out two for his second save.
- Â Rene Arauz (1-1) took the loss for St.Thomas. He allowed four runs (three earned) on six hits and four walks in four innings.
- Baldwin led the Bucs at the plate, going 4-for-7 with a double, two homers, five runs and five RBI in the twin bill. Rapoza and Justin Lamazares also had four hits.

The Bucs travel to Billy Grant Field in Valdosta, Ga., to face off with the Valdosta State Blazers next weekend.
