Baseball Drops Game One To Bobcats

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers fell 14-0 to the St. Thomas Bobcats on Friday at Maineri Field in the first game of a three-game set on Friday night.

NOTEWORTHY:

  • Armando Gonzalez (0-2) took the loss for Barry. He gave up four runs (two earned) on two hits and two walks in a third of an inning.
  • Tyeler Checkley(1-0) earned the win in relief. He worked two scoreless innings, allowing two hits and striking out three.
  • Jonathan Quintana led the Bucs with two hits. 
  • Marerro was 2-for-3 with a walk and two RBI for the Bobcats.
