MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Women's soccer's 2018 senior class went out with a bang on Senior Night, leading the Barry Buccaneers to a 4-0 win over the Florida Southern Mocs in Sunshine State Conference action at Buccaneer Field on Tuesday.
The nine-player class combined for four goals, three assists and a shutout as the Bucs finished off an undefeated regular season for the fourth time in school history.

SUMMARY:
- 13:02 - Christy Grimshaw and Molly Sharpe worked a give-and-go at the top of the box and Grimshaw ripped a shot past Tori Routt for what proved to be the game-winner.
- 46:07 - Grimshaw struck again just after the half. After a throw in, Grimshaw touched the ball over to Sarah Wignall who sent the ball over to Sharpe. Sharpe chipped a pass back to Grimshaw who came around the flank and beat the defense for her second goal.
- 62:16 - Sharpe got on the board in the 63rd minute. Grimshaw sent a long cross into the box and Sharpe scored on a side volley past Routt.
- 85:31 - Alissa Bello got her second career goal, a beautiful strike from 25 yards out that chipped the keeper.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Grimshaw now leads the conference with 13 goals. She also has five game-winners on the season and 11 for her career. She is tied with Tammie Thornton (2001-03) and Tiina Saario (2002-05) for fifth place all time at Barry.
- Sharpe has 12 goals and 10 assists on the season. She is the first player since Emelie Karlsson in 2004 to have double figures in both goals and assists in a season.
- Melanie Ziegner had three saves in 80:30 minutes and Maddie Hart-Pomerantz cleaned up the last 9:30 for the Bucs' league-leadign 10th shutout in 15 games this season.
- Routt stopped half of the shots the Bucs put on goal, makign four saves and allowing four goals.
ON THE HORIZON:
The Bucs clinched the regular season title and top seed in the tournament on Saturday, so they will have a bye in the quarterfinals. They will play in the semifinals on Thursday, Nov. 1 against an opponent to be determined.
