ORLANDO Fla. – Riding a seven-game win streak going into their final matchups of the SSC Crossover, the Bucs continued their spotless run after defeating Alabama-Huntsville and West Alabama on Saturday in Orlando, Fla., at the South Region Crossover.

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING:
After game one: "We displayed a complete team effort in this victory," head coach Steve Hendricks said, "Gabi (Jensen), Tierney (Ward), and Brittany (Reynolds) all played well off the bench and provided a spark for the team. I thought it was good for their confidence after coming back from their respective injuries. Ana's (Samokhvalova) .700 and Kishara's (Gordon) .400 hitting percentages were outstanding performances."
After game two: "We played some of our best volleyball in our last match," Hendricks said. "Once again, this was a complete team effort. Going into the tournament, our goal was to go undefeated at the crossover and we accomplished it. The team is playing well heading into our last six regular season matches as we look to finish strong."
SUMMARY:
Match One
- 1st set | 25-19 - The Bucs hit a solid .259 while holding UAH to just -.036. Kishara Gordon had four kills in the first set.
- 2nd set | 25-20 - Back-to-back aces by Audren Rose set off a six-point run for Barry in the middle of the second set.
- 3rd set | 20-25 - A game-high 18 kills for UAH got them back in the match in the third set.
- 4th set | 25-18 - Barry finished the game on a high note with Tierney Ward and Anastasiia Samokhvalova leading the way with four kills a piece.
Match Two
- 1st set | 25-19 - Barry won the first set at the net, recording four blocks in the frame including three block assist from Gordon.
- 2nd set | 25-19 - Megi Buvinic dominated in set two, grabbing five kills to go along with two service aces.
- 3rd set | 25-15 - A collective effort smothered UWA in the final set with five different Bucs recording a kill.
NOTEWORTHY:.
- Buvinic continued her dominant run in October, adding another 29 kills next to her name on Saturday.
- Barry hit over .250 in both of there matches while holding UAH to a .150 hitting percentage and UWA to an even lower .074
- Audren Rose had another phenomenal defensive performance when she recorded 24 digs vs vs. UAH, her 12th 20+ dig game of the season.
