ST. LEO, Fla. -- The ninth-ranked Barry Buccaneers got goals from their two senior leaders to beat the Saint Leo Lions at University Field on Saturday night in Sunshine State Conference women's soccer action.
With the win, the Bucs clinch the conference regular season title for the 10th time, a league record, and the number one seed in the upcoming SSC Tournament.

SUMMARY:
- 4:01 - Christy Grimshaw made the most of the first shot of the night, burying one from 33 yards out over the head of Lions keeper Julia Ortiz. Gabby Sanon had the assist.
- 61:47 - Molly Sharpe stole the ball from the Lions defense and beat Ortiz to the ball, scoring into the empty net.
NOTEWORTHY:
- It's the seventh time this year that Grimshaw and Sharpe have both scored in a game and the second in a row.
- Melanie Ziegner stopped five shots, a season-high, as she completed her sixth solo shutout of the season.
- Ortiz stopped two shots, and got help from her defense which swept two more balls off the line.
ON THE HORIZON:
The Bucs host the Florida Southern Moccasins on Tuesday, Oct. 23 for Senior Night. The Bucs will honor the nine graduating seniors in a ceremony before the game.
