MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers could not cope with the hot-shooting Eckerd Tritons as they dropped just their second home game of the season 74-57 in Sunshine State Conference women's basketball action on Saturday.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Kiara Palmer posted a double-double to lead Barry with 20 points and 12 rebounds. She added two blocks and five steals.
- Barbara Cousiño added 15 points and Ida Andersson had 12.
- Chelsea Johnson led Eckerd with 16 points. Zoe Richards had 15 off the bench before fouling out. Kacie Juday had a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards.
- Barry has now dropped four straight in the series to the Tritons.
