MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers tied the Miami-Dade Sharks 2-2 in an exhibition baseball contest to start the pre-season on Saturday at Feinbloom Field.

NOTEWORTHY:

• The teams combined for only seven hits, four by the Sharks and three for the Bucs.
• Rey was the only player with multiple hits with a single in the ninth to go along with his homer.
• The eight Buccaneer pitchers combined for 13 strikeouts and just one walk. The Sharks had seven strikeouts and six walks.
• Barry's Anthony Boix struck out all three men he faced in the fourth inning.
