MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers pounded the pitching of Palm Beach State for 15 hits, including a homer and four doubles as they beat the Panthers in a pre-season exhibition 8-1 on Monday at Feinbloom Field.

- Armando Gonzalez worked two scoreless innings to start the game to earn the win. He allowed two hits, struck out two and did not walk a batter.
- Samuel Peralta was tagged for the three runs in the first inning on four hits and a walk to take the loss for the Panthers.
- Baldwin was 2-for-3 at the plate with a single and a homer. Monge-Rodriguez led the Bucs with three hits and two RBI. Thompson also had two hits, including a double, and two RBI.
- Christian Flint and Christian Coipel each had two hits for the Panthers.
