MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University women's basketball team bounced back from a couple of setbacks last week to defend home court in Wednesday's 66-56 win over arch-rival Lynn.
Barry held Lynn to 37 percent shooting, and held off the pesky Fighting Knights, who made a late comeback bid.

- 4Q - Lynn drew within nine on Kelsi Fizer's jumper at the 2:54 mark, but Stephane Granada scored 32 seconds later. The Fighting Knights cut it to seven with 1:34 left on Juju Uloma's jumper in the paint, but Cousiño hit a basket and a free throw down the stretch to help the Buccaneers hold on. | Barry 66, Lynn 56
NOTEWORTHY:
- Cousiño scored 23 points, and had five rebounds and five assists. It was the fourth time she's topped 20 points this season.
- Kiara Palmer had her eighth double-double of the season for the Bucs after finishing with 12 points and 10 boards.
- Paola Vazquez had 15 points, five boards and three steals for Lynn.
- Barry shot 83 percent in the third period, going 10 of 12 from the floor.
