Women's Soccer Battles To Scoreless Draw Against Embry-Riddle

All-time series between the two remains tied, now 1-1-1

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Barry's women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw for the second time this season, this time against the Embry-Riddle Eagles, Saturday night.

SUMMARY:
FIRST HALF:

  • The first half ended scoreless.
  • The Bucs outshot the Eagles 5-3.

SECOND HALF:

  • The second half was also scoreless.
  • Each side made three shots.
  • Dana Ruchti made two saves to force the game into overtime.

OVERTIME 1/2:

  • Neither side could find the back of the net, ending the game in a scoreless draw after double-overtime.
  • Barry outshot the Eagles 5-4.

NOTEWORTHY:

  • Both keepers kept a clean sheet as Ruchti made five saves for the Eagles, and Melanie Ziegner made two saves for Barry.
