MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Barry men's soccer team travels up to West Palm Beach, Fla., to take on the ninth-ranked Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish on Wednesday, Sept. 27. The game marks the first time the teams have met as full members of the Sunshine State Conference.
Sergio Yepes and Ivan Arenas have accounted for the Bucs' two goals on the season, while Alex Doyle and Jarrell Cato have contributed assists. Bo Haug and Marco Sordi have split time in the nets, with Haug playing two games and Sordi one. Together thy have combined for a 1.17 goals against average and a save percentage of .800.
The Sailfish, like the Bucs, were impacted by Hurricane Irma, but have managed to get in six games so far to the Bucs' three. The 'Fish are 4-0-2 in their six outings, scoring 12 goals and allowing just two.
Sophomore forwards Fredo Dilbert and Claudio Rivandeneira each have two goals and an assist to lead the team. Seniors Jerry Saint-Vil and Dominik Budic each have two assists. Sophomore Elliot Barker and freshman Patrick Seuffert have split time in goal. Barker, who has started four of the six games, is 2-0-2 with a 0.45 goals against average. Sueffert has posted two shutouts in to starts.
