MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers fell 4-2 in the opener of a three-game softball set with the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish on Friday night at Buccaneer Field.

SUMMARY:
- B-4th - Jasmine Harris launched a massive homer down the left field line to give the Bucs a 1-0 lead.
- T-5th - The Sailfish took the lead in the next half inning. After loading the bases on a single, error and safe fielder's choice, PBA worked a squeeze bunt and a sacrifice fly to go up 2-1.
- T-7th - The Sailfish extended the lead to 4-1 with three hits, two of the doubles, in the seventh.
- B-7th - Alayna Gallagher drove in Hunter Mars with a single to left to trim the lead to 4-2.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Christie Falcon (8-14) took the loss for the Bucs in a complete game effort. She allowed four runs (three earned) on six hits and a walk.
- Nikki Brinegar (10-5) earned the win for the Sailfish.
- Harris' homer was her 11th of the season, tying her with Amanda Moore (2004) for the second most in program history. Crissy Nunez (1988) hit 12 for the record.
