MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers celebrated Senior Day for the 2017 class with a doubleheader sweep of the Keiser Seahawks at Buccaneer Field on Tuesday afternoon. The Bucs took game one 11-1 in five innings, but had to work extra in the nightcap, winning 8-7 in eight innings.

GAME ONE:
- B-1st - The Bucs scored four runs on three hits, a walk and an error. Geneva Santos had a two-run single.
- B-2nd - Sam Busekrus led off with a single. She scored on a triple by senior Cheyanne Head and Had came home on a single by Madison VonHagel.
- B-3rd - Lynsey Duncan's two-run single highlighted a three-run third inning.
- B-4th - Kristina Osorio crushed a monster two-run homer to dead center field.
- T-5th - Cheyenne Blumberg had a two-out RBI single to plate the Seahawks only run.
SUMMARY:
GAME TWO:
- T-1st - The Seahawks jumped on the board early in game two, scoring twice on four hits in the first inning. Cassidy Miller and Carly Nicholas had RBI singles.
- B-1st - Duncan tied the game with a two-run homer. Jasmine Harris doubled and scored on a hit by Avery Cotterill.
- T-2nd - Bermari Figueroa scored on a error to tie the game at 3-3.
- T-5th - The Seahawks regained the lead 6-3 by batting around in the fifth.Kristen Garceau led off with a double. Blumberg and Alyssa Miller had RBI singles. Pinch hitter Aquaria Baines delivered the final blow with a double down the right field line.
- B-5th - Senior Hunter Mars and Busekrus had singles to start the inning. After a sacrifice, Alyan Gallagher delivered the run-scoring single, then worked a double steal with Busekrus. Duncan knocked in Gallagher to knot the game at 6-6.
- T-8th - Figueroa knocked in the tie-break runner with a single to right center.
- B-8th - In the bottom of the inning, defensive miscues cost the Seahawks. With Duncan aboard at second, Harris hit a ground ball to Figueroa who threw the ball away down the right field line. Duncan scored to tie the game and Harris advanced all the way to third. VonHagel and pinch hitter Osorio were intentionally walked. Harris raced home on a passed ball by Blumberg with the winning run.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Santos (6-4) picked up both wins. She worked four scoreless innings in game one, scattering four hits and a walk. She came on in relief in game two, working the final three innings without an earned run.
- Allison Williams (7-10) took the loss in game one. She gave up six runs (four earned) on five hits and a walk in 1.0+ innings. Riley Caylor (8-10) took the loss in game two.
- Duncan, Busekrus and Gallagher all had three hits in the twin bill. Duncan had a double, homer and five RBI. She, Gallagher, Busekrus, Harris and Head all scored three runs.
