PENSACOLA, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers dropped a softball doubleheader to the West Florida Argonauts 6-0 and 5-4 at the UWF Softball Complex on Tuesday.

SUMMARY:
GAME ONE:
- B-1st - Callan Taylor hit a grand slam and Caitlin Steele added an RBI single to give West Florida a 5-0 lead.
- B-5th - Tiona Hill knocked in Rhiannon Sassman with a single to make it 6-0.
GAME TWO:
- T-3rd - Lynsey Duncan drove in Sam Busekrus with a single to give Barry the early 1-0 lead.
- B-4th - The Argonauts got a pair of sacrifice flies to take a 2-1 lead.
- T-5th - Barry tied it 2-2 on another RBI single for Duncan to score Cheyanne Head.
- B-6th - UWF took a 3-2 lead when Sassman scored on a error at the plate.
- T-7th - Duncan had a sacrifice fly to score Head and Alayna Gallagher scored ahead of a pinch-hit single by Avery Cotterill to give Barry a 4-3 lead.
- B-7th - After Taylor had an RBI single to tie the game, Jacey Castro scored the winning run on a fly ball by Sassman.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Christie Falcon (1-7) took the loss in the first game after surrendering Taylor's HR.
- Geneva Santos (2-1) was tagged with the loss in game two.
- Duncan was 3-for-5 and drove in three of the Bucs' four runs on the day. Head also had three hits and scored twice.
ON THE HORIZON:
The Bucs visit the Florida Tech Panthers in Melbourne, Fla., on the weekend for a key Sunshine State Conference series.
