DAVIE, Fla. – Barry baseball dropped a close game to Nova Southeastern in game one of the weekend conference series Friday night, losing 5-6.

SUMMARY:
- T1: Julian Abreu starts the Bucs right off the bat with a homer to center field, taking the 1-0 lead.
- B1: Dylan Woods evened the game at 1-1 with a double to right center to score one RBI.
- T4: Barry regained the lead to make it 4-1 in the fourth. Justin Lamazares, Ryan Baldwin and Alffredi Ramos each homered for the Bucs.
- B4: The Sharks knocked in four runs in the fourth to take the 5-4 lead. Andrew Liberty and Sebastian Diaz both homered.
- T5: Lamazares singled to left field to score Khalil Denson to tie the game up at 5-5.
- B8: Jake Anchia homered to right center in the eighth to give Nova the 6-5 lead.
