BOCA RATON, Fla. -- The Buccaneers baseball team dropped their match against Lynn Saturday afternoon, 9-4 on the road.

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING:
"It was a competitive game until Lynn capitalized on a couple of errors and tough calls late in the game," volunteer assistant coach Julio Mendoza said. "Our focus is now on our final game of the weekend, which we take on Nova."
SUMMARY:
- B3: A fielding error by the Bucs led to the Knights taking the early 1-0 lead, scoring Miguel Ceballos from third after Patrick Dorrian put the ball in play.
- B4: Lynn's Ceballos singled to right field, scoring Gabe Martinez, who walked earlier in the inning.
- T5: Khalil Denson got the Bucs on the board when he advanced to home from third on the wild pitch by Donovan Armas.
- T6: Denson came back in the sixth to help take the 3-2 lead, as he singled to the right side of the field, scoring both Andrew Rapoza and Justin Lamazares, which was good for two RBI.
- B6: Jonathon Corbitt of Lynn knotted the match 3-3, singling up the middle of the field, to score Karl Ellison, who reached on a fielder's choice and advanced to second on a wild pitch.
- T7: Lamazares homered to right field in the seventh, to take the 4-3 lead for the Bucs.
- B7: Lynn swung for five runs in the bottom of the seventh to regain the lead, making it 8-4. Barry's pitching gave up four singles, a double, and a triple to the host Knights.
- B8: G. Martinez reached on a fielders choice in the eighth, and scored Dorrian, to give the Knights the five-run lead.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Daniel Nuzzi grabbed the win for the Knights, giving up just two hits through 11 batters.
- Armando Gonzalez took the loss for the Bucs, giving up three runs to the Knights.
- Denson and Lamazares both went 2-4 on the day for the Bucs, and combined for three runs and three RBI.
- Dorrian went 2-5 for the Knights, and had two RBI and two runs.
