MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers took a tough 7-4Â loss Tuesday night against the host Bobcats of St. Thomas.

SUMMARY:
- T1: The Bucs knocked in one run in the first. Ryan Baldwin drove in Julian Abreu, who had doubled to left field and advanced to third on a wild pitch.
- B1: The Bobcats answered back with four runs to take the 4-1 lead. Orlando Rivera and David Palenzuela each had doubles.
- B2: Nick Canino increased the Bobcat lead to four runs after scoring on a wild pitch. Palenzuela added another run with a homer to right field, making it 7-1.Â
- T9: The Bucs scored three runs in the ninth to give it a go at the Bobcat's lead. Juan Sebastian Dayoub flew out to right field, scoring Khalil Denson, which trimmed the Bobcats lead to five runs. Scott Cosculluela singled to score Richie alfonso, and Abreu doubled again to score Michael Escarra. The Bucs brought it within three, but the rally fell short.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Chris Rodriguez grabbed the win for the Bobcats, and Anthony Justiniano picked up the save.
- Nate Greve took the loss for the Bucs.
- Abreu went 2-5 on the night for the Bucs, with two doubles and one RBI.
